Course Title:
Preparation Course for the PMI's PMP Examination

Duration: 2 days

Course Overview
The PMP examination consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The secret to passing the PMP examination is in obtaining the base knowledge and then having access to as many practice questions as possible. The course itself consists of 2 days intensive instruction and practice and discussion of exam type questions. Students will be provided with all the materials they need to revise for the examination, namely the training manual, a CD ROM containing practice questions and the PMBOK. (A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, published by PMI).

Examinations are held on-line at centres all over the country. It is recommended that students take the exam 3 to 8 weeks after completing the course.

Target Audience


All project managers wishing to attain the Project Management Institution’s PMP qualification. (Project Management Professional).

Prerequisites


In order to take the examination candidates must demonstrate their project management experience. Full details are available at www.pmi.org but generally speaking graduates require 3 years project management experience and non graduates 5 years.
