Pentland Training Bulletin - Spring 2008
1. 2008 – The Year for Training?

The first quarter of 2008 has been a busy one here at Pentland. Training courses and programmes tailored and delivered on customer sites have included, Project Management, MS Project, SQL, ITIL, Train the Trainer, Unix, and Requirements Specification using UML.

The training Industry in general seems to be experiencing a boom of late, which isn’t surprising after a quieter than usual 2007. This may be due employees having to be become even more multi-skilled as they take on the work of those having been made redundant, and also from new skills being required after departmental restructures. PRINCE2 and ITIL training show no signs of slowing, and Management & Personal Development training Programmes are in more demand than ever.
